We were perfectly satisfied...location, breakfast, staff, spacious room with terrace...
...too thin walls, we could hear people from the next room...

Villa Ginevra Hotel de Charme in Acireale is a very nice place to be. It is placed just north of Aci Trezza. The hotel was perfect. The room (no 7) was very comfortable with a balcony against south. The balcony was very good for this time of the year (March) but will also be good when the sun is higher on the sky because of a big tree just outside the balcony. The staff was very nice and helpful. You have a very good breakfast and you can get coffee during the day, but there is no restaurant on the hotel. I is OK. Just outside the door, you find a lot of very good fish restaurants. We visited Etna, but found the top very fuggy and full of snow. We also visited “Bar Vitelli” in Savoca, a village near Taormina. We went to see the wedding Church where Michael Corleone and his young Sicilian wife Apollonia got maried, and after that we made the same walk Michael and Apollonia did after the wedding along with family and friends, to end at the front of the Bar Vitelli to celebrate the wedding. Here we had 10 minutes with sun which was enough for a cup of Capo chino. If we come back to Sicily another time, we will be back on this hotel. Knud-Erik Bornhardt, Denmark
